Better Classroom Guidebooks

The Day in Canadian History crossword puzzle collection consists of 365 puzzles that cover the entire calendar year.  Each day's puzzle is accompanied by a fact sheet that provides students with information about events that occurred on that day over the span of Canada's History.

The Day in Canadian History puzzle collection is ideal for use as a regular classroom activity for students in grade six or higher!  They can be used:

• as routine part of your opening exercises at the start of class, or

• as sponge activities when students are finished other classroom activities. 

This collection of crossword puzzles contains the following components:

• A fact sheet for use with each day's crossword.  Each fact sheet provides students with the body of information they need to complete the day's crossword. 

• 365 puzzles covering the entire year.

• Answer keys.
